The Microsoft Technology Centers (MTCs) have been working closely with the product teams, partners, and customers for more than a year to prepare for the launch of SharePoint Syntex and future phases of Project Cortex. Come to this session to learn what SharePoint Syntex is; how it is architected; common use cases and scenarios to apply SharePoint Syntex; how to extend and integrate with Azure Search; and integration with partner solutions such as Fujitsu scanners.

Chris Bortlik
Chris Bortlik works at Microsoft as a Principal Technical Architect. He works at the Boston Microsoft Technology Center (MTC) with customers and partners in a technical role primarily architecting and building solutions based on Microsoft/Office 365, Viva, SharePoint, OneDrive, Yammer, Teams, Stream, Power Apps, Power Automate, Forms, Office, and EMS. Chris is a Microsoft 365 Insider and Ranger within Microsoft and works closely with various product teams and the MVP community. He holds numerous SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, and Office 365 technical certifications. Chris speaks frequently at Microsoft events (including the SharePoint Conference and Microsoft Ignite) and has also spoken at numerous other events and user group meetings including being the featured keynote speaker at SharePoint Fest and SharePoint Live! He is a contributing author of the 'Essential SharePoint 2010' book and a coauthor of the 'Essential SharePoint 2013' book.
