Introduction to Office 365

The first monthly meeting of the Boston O365 User Group will feature an overview of all the elements of Office 365 and how organizations can get started using it or expand their current use of the popular service. The presenter is Microsoft Insider Chris Bortlik, currently an Office 365 Technology Specialist at Microsoft. Chris will explore all the features of Office 365, the fundamentals of its architecture and device requirements, administrative tools, and how to stay up to date on service announcements and updates.

Chris Bortlik works at Microsoft as a Principal Technical Architect. He works at the Boston Microsoft Technology Center (MTC) with customers and partners in a technical role primarily architecting and building solutions based on Microsoft/Office 365, Viva, SharePoint, OneDrive, Yammer, Teams, Stream, Power Apps, Power Automate, Forms, Office, and EMS. Chris is a Microsoft 365 Insider and Ranger within Microsoft and works closely with various product teams and the MVP community. He holds numerous SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, and Office 365 technical certifications. Chris speaks frequently at Microsoft events (including the SharePoint Conference and Microsoft Ignite) and has also spoken at numerous other events and user group meetings including being the featured keynote speaker at SharePoint Fest and SharePoint Live! He is a contributing author of the 'Essential SharePoint 2010' book and a coauthor of the 'Essential SharePoint 2013' book.
